Patricia Said’s two daughters Amina and Sarah were allegedly murdered by her Muslim husband their father. In what could only be described as a horrid evil act of honorcide. Now Phyllis Chesler reports Patricia’s last remaining child Islam has been taken from her. Is Islam Said being groomed by his paternal male relatives in New York? If so, one can only imagine the levels of indoctrination going on behind closed doors within the inner Said circle. Reportedly Patricia (Tissy) Said has been disowned by Yaser’s (her fugitive husband’s) family and they have turned on her. They all know more than they are admitting. IMHO

Chesler Chronicles at Pajamas Media | Tuesday, May 20, 2008Old News: The sisters, Sarah and Amina Said, are still dead; their father-murderer, Yasir Abdul Said, has not yet been found; the mainstream media continues its uncanny silence.
What’s New: The reward for Said’s capture has been doubled and Tissy Said, his wife and the mother of the two murdered girls, has been ejected from the home of her extended Muslim family. Her beloved son, Islam, (from whom she would not willingly part), has been sent away from her. The Said family presumably want him to be “around a man” (his paternal uncle in New York City) and not around his mother. According to Tissy’s great-aunt, the brave, outspoken, Gail Gartrell:
“I feel Tissy is in grave danger from her own son. This is what I think his uncle is working through with Islam in New York. I fear his return. All the nieces and nephews in the Said family are accusing Tissy of this being her fault. They have turned on her. They blame her for allowing her daughters to see American boys. She has become the enemy. When I spoke to Tissy, she seemed more upset about this betrayal than about anything else. She told me she did not care if he (Islam? or Yaser?) killed her or not. Now, her spirit is broken since her Muslim family has walked away from her. Tissy told me that she wants to be buried next to her daughters.”
Tissy is an American citizen who is about 36-37 years old. She was married to Yaser at fifteen.
Gartrell described being recently preyed upon by a local Texas reporter who said she was a private investigator-in an effort to gain access to Tissy. The ruse did not work but it sowed discord among family members. Gartrell and other great-aunts have, reportedly, been threatened online and warned not to write about this case. (One great-aunt was writing a book-she may no longer be doing so).
Gartrell tells me that no one can save Tissy but Tissy herself. She has to “contact the police for help. A detective said the only way to protect her was if she would be willing to leave Islam and go into hiding! ”
Why is the media so disinterested? Their disinterest makes it harder for the police to find Yaser and encourages the next honor murderer to strike. Chances are, he will not be successfully pursued. Chances are, the world will not much care. What about the young boys who tried to save Sarah and Amina and who remain in hiding? The media silence endangers them more each day.

There you will find a plethora of comments in defense of Yaser Said. The commentary includes the unfortunate distressful infighting amongst the maternal side of the family fueled by the “local Texas reporter” The “local Texas reporter” contacted me via e-mail in an attempt to prod yours truly to release info to her regarding the where a bouts of a specific visitor. I ignored the request. I believe (though I may be incorrect) that she has been trolling the thread causing trouble between the family members. Known as the Great Aunts of Sarah & Amina Said the victims in the yet to be solved murder case. The Aunts are doing all within their power to keep this story alive in hopes the alleged murderer Yaser Said is brought to justice.
God bless them all. I pray they find it in their hearts to get past the division caused by the ‘outsider’ and move forward.

Due to an idiotic mindless flaming troll not getting the hint. I closed comments on [Update 4: Reward is now $21,125.00!] Sarah and Amina Said’s Family Fight to Keep Their Deaths in the Public Eye. After which all previously posted comments disappeared including the comment box. I tried to reverse the situation by opening comments and the situation remains the same. Ok I have cooled off some. I do not want to come off as being so rude. The comments have gotten out of hand. Please understand. all of the infighting and back biting is defeatist. Somehow, some way I hope you all can straighten things out amongst each other.
A blog is not the place to publicly air family laundry. I am partly to blame for letting it get as out of control as it did. BUT I am damned if I do and damned if I don’t. Caught in the crossfire. Which is not fair. If I unapprove comments I am accused of suppressing ‘free speech’. [Not that it applies here.] If I let comments fly as I have, the situation becomes to loosey goosey. Something has got to give.

Update on America’s Most Wanted; The story and re-enactment is coming along fine,but it looks like it may not be aired until fall, as there is so much information to gather.But it will be done, and we appreciate that.
Last Wednesday, and again yesterday, we had two really long,emotional interviews for a cable news show that took full days.We were taken back to memories that are hard to re-visit.We visited the park where we believe the girls were killed! We could hear the shots firing from the gun range nearby! This has become hard to do.We cried almost as much as the day we received that horrible news! We passed out some fliers and left balloons on a park tree.
We visualized in our heads more than we wanted.It is so hard not to when you are right there in that park!That very park!
It is difficult, but we have to go on!We have to get justice for Amina & Sarah! Together, as a whole, we can do this! Please support us!
We are working very hard to raise money for the reward, and really could use some help. I had decided, with the economy the way it is,price of gas and price of groceries, it is hard for people to give much.So, I started asking friends, relatives, people I know at the grocery store, just whoever, please give a $5.00 check or money order made out to Crimestoppers. So far, I have taken in several checks.If everyone you know could give only $5.00, it will add up!And maybe be enough for someone to turn him in.

I am not sure why you would call the paper. I do not now, nor have I ever worked for the paper. It is interesting that people who claim they want this story out there, so people will look for the monster, try everything under the sun to stop those who are trying to put the story out there? A lot of Islam’s anger is caused by his Aunt? I beg to differ. In all likely hood, his anger is fueled by the world knowing his dad murdered his sisters. Something he will have to work out for himself eventually, with or without therapy. If it is even possible to heal from such a thing.
He needs help. Spitting vile at family members is not helping him. He may think it releases some of his anger but misdirected anger is not release. He could be guilty of at least knowing where Yaser is. Which could explain his misdirected anger. Transferring guilt so to say.

Collective fasting and praying will get this man caught, don’t depend on the news and do not put your faith in AMW. Put it in Jesus. Put your faith in Jesus in hopes that when AMW airs, it will catch the eye of a very reliable source.
I will pray a prayer tonite that will rock Yasar entire religion and his smelly hiding place.
Remember, you don’t have to fast for 40days and 40 nights, like Jesus did. You can fast for just 12hours or even 6hours a day, every day for 5 days. But make sure that at the beginning of your fast that you pray to God and let him know that “God, today I will fast and pray for abt 5hrs. I denounce my flesh for this period that I may get closer to you and bring all of my concerns and wants to you.” God will hear you, and he will appreciate your commitment. Fasting is important in times like this, you are denouncing food music and tv and prayiong for these girls souls and their fathers capture. Try and get others to join in the fast every day with you between the same times. You all don’t have to be in the same place to this. You can pray silently at work and while driving, just throughout your entire 5 hrs. And remember prayer is just you talking to God. It doesnt have to be some fancy verbiage, and you do not have to quote the bible. Just talk to him like you would talk to a person you’ve known forever. Just say “jesus, i am coming you to today because I want this hate for this man taken from my heart. I want this man that committed these heniuos crimes to be brought to justice. I’m praying for strength, I am praying for protection for me and my family….” so on and so forth.
But leave a gap of time open everyday and praise God and thank him and pray for closure..he will surely answer.
